How are Hip-Clip Under-Ups worn?
Directly against your body, under your shirt. The straps cross at your back and attach with two clasps, one at each side of your pants or shorts. There is no hardware at the front or in the small of your back.
Will they stay hidden under my shirt?
They're made to be worn out of sight under a loose-fitting shirt or sweater, and the flush length adjuster avoids buckle bulges. With an untucked shirt, choose one long enough to cover your waistband so the side clips stay hidden.
What's the difference between 1½″ and 2″?
Strap width and clasp size. The 2″ styles (6506HP, 9511HP) use wider straps and jumbo gripper clasps; the 1½″ styles (6406HP, 9601HP) use standard gripper clasps. Both are listed at 48″ adjustable length.
Should I choose black or tan?
Tan is a light, skin-tone beige with beige clasps. Black is all black, straps and clasps.
Will they set off airport metal detectors?
No. All four styles use Holdup's composite plastic "No-Buzz" gripper clasps, which are made not to trigger metal detectors at airports or secure buildings.
How do I care for them?
The cotton poly-blend straps are hand washable.
